Now that you have installed iTools, here are some of the ways that you may use it. For the purposes of discussion, we will assume our home directory looks like:

ic.dbin.SunOS5.exe
install.did
itools.2.0.0
mail.pw
test
(This is the contents of our example directory.)

Executing Itools

cd itools.2.0.0    (itools root directory)

source .icrc      (Sets the itools shell variables.)

Now you are free to go anywhere  in your directory structure and use itools.

for example: 

cd  /home/design

itools -v   yourdesign

Executing EZ

Method 1

cd itools.2.0.0/bin 

./EZ

 

Method 2

cd itools.2.0.0  (itools root directory)

source .icrc      (Sets the itools shell variables.)

Now you are free to go anywhere in your directory structure and use itools.

cd  /home/design
