If you are receiving the error: ic.dbin.Linux.exe not found
on Redhat Linux or other comparable Linux distributions, then you must
install version 1 of the dynamic linker (ld.so version 1) and the
version 5 C library. You can download these files directly from the
Redhat / SUSE websites or you can download the Redhat rpm's that
will work with any system. (below)
Using the version 5 C library allows Itools to be backward and forward compatible with a great number of Linux distributions. If you use the libc6 version, you will not need to install these libraries. However, we have found the libc6 version to be slightly slower than the libc5 versions.
